What year did you start CrossFitting?


Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?

I always wanted to find something that would keep me in shape—and keep my interest. Just before starting CrossFit, I was on the treadmill and outside for long runs on a regular basis. The problem was, it was a chore—and I didn’t feel like I was in better shape. CrossFit gave me the variety and challenge—and results I had been looking for.

Why did you become a trainer?

I love it and always enjoyed sharing my knowledge with new/er members. I also wanted to better understand why CrossFit worked and why it had taken me and so many others so long to figure it out. The ability to teach others was a bonus.

What’s your favorite CrossFit movement?

Anything that makes friends question my sanity.

What is your favorite cheat food?

Grilled chicken. Ha! Cookie dough, straight up.

What’s your favorite Superhero and why?

Wonder Woman. Flies in an invisible plane and doesn’t care that people can see her, sitting in the sky.
